Sustainability is a top priority for us. We work with local and organic products. The energy in our building is generated by solar panels and green electricity. We also do not use gas. Fun fact: all chairs in our restaurant are second-hand. Feel welcome and go green!
Ristobar29 has a quirky mix of antique and hip. The dishes are colourful, honest and up-to-date. We work with the seasons, preferably with local products. The dishes on our menu change regularly, so that we can surprise guests with something different every time.
Hello Goodbye Diner – A Culinary Changing of the Guard at Ristobar29! After more than five years, our chef Luuk Broos is saying goodbye to Ristobar29. A long-held dream is coming true for him as he opens his own restaurant in his beloved hometown of Oisterwijk, in a prominent location. Taking his place is the experienced Lennard Wissink, who, with his passion and expertise, will take over the reins.
To celebrate this special moment, both chefs are combining their culinary talents to create a special 4-course menu on Tuesday, March 25th, at 7:00 PM. A wonderful opportunity to enjoy Luuk’s signature dishes one last time and get a taste of Lennard’s flavorful style. Expect an exclusive 4-course surprise menu, including an amuse-bouche, created by both chefs.
Ristobar29 opens everyday of the week for lunch and dinner. We now have a rotating menu and a Chef’s special for € 39,50. Chef Lennard Wissink devised a 3-course surprise dinner for the Chef’s special. Lunch or dinner can also be served in combination with a film.
Ristobar29 on Willem-II Street is housed in a national monument from 1876 where you also will find the oldest cinema in the Netherlands. Today, the history is still particularly tangible and visible in all places. Not only can you enjoy a culinary dinner, you are also very welcome for a cup of coffee and a piece of homemade cake. Perhaps combine it with a beautiful film? Also, the metropolitan atrium is a great place for a drink!
Lennard Wissink is in charge of the kitchen. Discovering new combinations and preparation methods is the best thing there is. Going along with developments in the world, going with the seasons. But at the same time, keep the classics alive. The bread we serve is developed and baked by ourselves. We also do the patisserie, a profession in its own! We like to know where our vegetables come from. That is why we have entered into a partnership with Sprankenhof, which supplies farm-fresh fruit and vegetables.
